Instead of showing how hard their situation is because the area where they're living in is already flooded, the residents in Marikina chose to be practical during the tough times!
Most people would really expect that the affected residents will just wait for the help from the government, however, everything's different for the residents in Marikina.
They created their improvise fish net to catch fishes in the flood. They were able to catch tilapia, hito (Catfish) and even janitor fishes.
Despite knowing the danger of eating the fishes they caught from the flood, they still chose to eat it and simply said that they'll clean it thoroughly and cook it well.
Because of the non-stop rainfall, more than 9 thousand people are suffering because their homes are already covered with flood. The affected families are currently staying in the evacuation centers.
