Cyrish Magalang made her parents proud as she graduated as a Cum Laude at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). But her journey towards achieving her dreams was cut short after 2 men who are under the influence of Shabu killed her.
The 20-years-old daughter of Milagros and Juancho Magalan has a dream of being a flight stewardess. This is the reason why she took a degree in Tourism at UST. She devoted her life in fulfilling her dreams by studying hard.
On the day before her graduation, she handed a paper to her mother. She thought that it was just a bill for the school. But it was really an announcement from the school that she is bound graduate as a Cum Laude.
After graduation, she got the job as a Guest Services Assistant at the SMX Convention Center. Her parents allowed her because the commute from their house is convenient.
On October 30, 2012, Cyrish got her first paycheck and was excited to go home to bring the donuts and other treats that she promised for her family.
It was already around 9pm and she still hasn't arrived. The following day, her lifeless body was found. It has 49 stab wounds. The suspects Roel Gacita, 24 and Rolin Gacita, 27 admitted that they did the crime claiming that they were 'not themselves' during the time that they killed her.
