Is Cacai Bautista banned from seeing Mario Maurer? 

Maurer’s publicist in the Philippines Joyce Ramirez confirmed that the Thai heartthrob is advised to “keep a friendly distance” from Cacai to avoid “false” rumors.

“Based from my last meeting with the Thai agents of Mario Maurer in Bangkok, they have advised Mario since 2013 to keep a friendly distance to avoid rumors of a romantic affair with the comedian… The Thai reps has also kept records of news clips tracked in the Philippines and have consulted with their local partners on how to best manage the negative impact (of the false rumor) on the reputation of the actor,” Ramirez told Pep PH. 

“The story [Cacai] has created only in her mind is false, malicious and delusional,” she added.

Cacai reacted to Ramirez’ hurtful remarks on Facebook. She wrote: 

“Apat na taon na po akong nanahimik never ko pong naipagtanggol ang sarili ko sa lahat lahat po ng panglalalit na natanggap ko. Hindi ko po alam kung ano po bang nagawa ko sa kanila bakit ganun nalang ang galit nila sa akin. Pero, Sige lang kung ito lang po ang makakapagpasaya sa kanila, Ibibigay ko na po. God bless you all.”

The heated exchange started when the Thai actor visited the country last August 6. Cacai’s friends teased her, “May time naman ba?”

To which the comedienne replied, “Baket? Hahaha paano haharot, e baka nasa pinto pa lang ako ng Dusit Thani, itaboy na nila ako… Nako ayaw ni Joyce!”

After seeing her name in the conversation, Ramirez assumed it was her and threatened Cacai. The publicist wrote, “Sinong Joyce naman 'yan Kakai Bautista? Have you met me personally to warrant a name drop? Baka naka-drugs ka, I will kill you.”

Cacai and Mario met while shooting the film “Suddenly It’s Magic” in 2012. After seeing their unusual closeness, people wondered if they were a couple, but both repeatedly denied the rumor.
