[Trending Now] Mayor Richard Gomez Was Spotted On The Streets As A 'Traffic Enforcer' In Ormoc City!

Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez became a traffic enforcer for a day.

In a video posted by the Facebook page Richard Gomez Global, the veteran actor, still in barong, was directing traffic in an unidentified street in his home city.  

His constituents and other netizens applauded Gomez for being an “active” and “caring” mayor.

“Saan ka ba makaka kita ng mayor na ganyan sa Ormoc lang ata hehe salamat sa active mayor natin..God bless you mayor,” a netizen said.

“Si mayor working hard gd xa armor good job mayor sana ganon cla lahat c mayor Richard mag work yan may malasakit xa tao,” another added. 

Other netizens claimed they wouldn’t mind being stuck in traffic if Gomez would be the traffic enforcer. 

“Ang gwapo ng [traffic enforcer] na ito,” one commenter quipped. “Kahit ma-trapic ok lang bahla kung aabutin ng umaga.”

The 50-year-old is serving his first-term after winning against re-electionist Edward "Ondo" Codilla by a very slim margin.
