Karylle is leaving “It’s Showtime” for a couple of weeks to shoot in Singapore.
The singer-host will be appearing as a pole dancer named Maia in the upcoming Asian series “Private Investigator.”
“Mag-o-OFW muna ako,” Karylle quipped.
Her co-hosts accompanied her on stage during her announcement and wished her luck.
“Congratulations. We're so proud of you. Di kami nagtataka na ganyan ang mga projects mo pang-international,” Vice Ganda said. “Kami pang-dito-dito lang kami, pero ikaw. Yung talent mo talaga dapat makita at mapanood around the world.”
“You deserve greatness. We are so blessed [to have you]. We're gonna miss you,” Billy Crawford added.
Karylle thanked her It’s Showtime family for being supportive. After joining the show, she began to dream bigger for herself.
“Thank you sa Showtime family kasi dito naman talaga ako natuto to dream big tulad ng araw-araw na pinapaalala ni Anne [Curtis],” Karylle said.
“Syempre ang Filipino world class athletes... world class talents so kailangan nating i-develop yan. Thank you for giving me this chance Showtime. I love you all. See you soon,” she added.
This wasn’t Karylle’s first time appearing in international shows. She starred in the critically-acclaimed The Kitchen Musical and Singapore’s highest-rating action series “Point of Entry.”
