Following the surprise raid of PNP in Cebu City Jail where they were able to confiscate big amount of money, various appliances and gadgets, and even illegal weapons, another modus inside another prison, Davao City Jail, have been busted.
In this video shared by the page "Duterte Today", cigarettes and other contrabands are being smuggled inside the bilibid through repacking crackers and hiding these things inside. It was a shock when a plastic bag full of crackers are actually a bag full of cigarettes.
Many netizens were angered with the video. A certain Erna Cualquera commented: "Higpitan nyo na kase bawal foods at inumin dalahin sa loob...damit lang na walang lubig o pantali sa sinturon. Gayahin nyo ang japan pati libro o magazine bawal lalo nat hindi nababasa. kung may tindahan sa loob doon na sila bumili. Masyadong spoiled mga preso sa atin kung anong gustong kainin dadalhan. Tigilan na yan...magalit na sila pero need higpit talaga! Dios mio..."
Meanwhile, PNP is yet to release their statement about the video.
