A security guard, was extremely shocked after finding a baby in a shoe box at national highway of Barangay Ventinilla, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
It was 4 am last Wednesday, August 10, around past 12 midnight, when the security guard of a gasoline station decided to dispose their trash near a mortuary. He suddenly heard sounds and at first, he thought it was a cat. But as he approached the source of the sound, he found out a shoe box, and inside it, was an 8-month-old baby.
Police speculates that the baby was abandoned.
Meanwhile, the baby was named "Alexa". She is now in the hospital recovering but is now stable. Police is already preparing her transfer to social workers who will be her guardian.
