Baron Geisler is an infamous showbiz personality known for his short temper and excessive drinking habit. However, on recent news, the actor rants on social media sharing his points about President Rodrigo Duterte, PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa and their fight against illegal drugs.
"I've been watching the news lately, nakakadisturb, daming patayan. Matagal naman na yan, ngayon lang nilalantad lahat -- Kamatayan agad, nasaan ang human rights? Saan ang justice system natin? -- Bakit di nila puntahan yung puno't dulo? kung saan nanggagaling ang droga," the actor said on the video message.
Geisler described the current administration saying: "parang silent martial law ang nangyayari."
"He is showing that iron fist, maraming okay na lang dahil natatakot sila pero I think may rights pa rin ang tao -- Pakitang gilas na lang tong bagong na presidente natin eh."
"Yung Maliliit na tao lang naman namamatay, Dapat Yung Puno ang habulin nyo!" he continued on the video.
He stressed his points expressing his disgust and disappointment with the administration saying he was not afraid. He believes that people deserve second chances however "a killer will always be a killer," says Geisler.
Furthermore, he sent a message to the boxing champ turned senator Manny Pacquiao saying he used to idolize the man.
"Manny Pacquiao, I idolized you before, you were a Christian like me, you say gay and lesbians are animals, ano pinagkaiba nun sa pagpatay sa ibang tao? Mas masahol pa tayo sa animal."
"Fight against drugs is a myth. It's been part of our economy and other great nations for centuries. Galing kasi talaga mag palusot ang pinoy. Reality check. Help educate people nalang rather than scaring them with useless things. Feed them. Stop eradicating the helpless. Lend a helping hand!" the actor's message according to Social News Ph.
