[Trending Now] Woman Saw This Poor Baby Abandoned In A Pile Of Trash.. After Two Years, This Is How She Looks Like Now!

This woman named Sarah Conque is a 28-year-old Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. When she was in grad school, she found out the she has a passion for the children who are in need especially the ones with disabilities.

Back in 2013, she moved to Haiti from Louisiana. It is where she started working as a missionary at the Danita's Children Medical Center. 

On January 2014, a young woman that has a 3-month-old baby named Nika who was suffering from hydranencephaly cam to their office. The condition of the child happened when a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid on the brain had her head to swell. 

The child was too thin and malnourished. Her mother thinks that she is a 'shameful secret' because in Haiti there is a saying that when a child is disabled, they are cursed and that no one should touch them. 

On August of the same year, Sarah took the courage to visit baby Nika because she was feeling that something is not right. 

Sarah was shocked when she found Nika alone in the house lying on a sack of rice with all the trash around her.

She then convinced the mother of the baby to bring her to the orphanage so that they could give her more attention.

Now, Sarah is the one taking care of the child. She then became the legal guardian of Nika. It is a good thing that her partner, Stephen has a mission to give her the loving home.

Baby Nika is now on her way to recovery with his loving parents who adopted her. Her story inspired a lot of people.
