Kris Aquino defends herself from her criticisms on the internet. Her bashers are saying foul things about her for using the presidential chopper for campaigning. 

There were even photos showing the President and Kris arriving in Dalaguete, Cebu by choppers with the presidential seal. These went viral and gain negative reactions from netizens. Many claim that their family is using the choppers for the campaign of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas.

"Puwede bang ipagtanggol niyo ako? Kasi sa totoo lang po, one hour na po ako naghihintay," she said. "Ang mga guards na kasama ko naloka na lang nang sinabi ko maglakad na tayo, dahil nakakahiyang paghintayin ang Hagonoy,"

It can be remembered that Kris announced on Instagram that she would take a time off from showbiz. But last Friday, she went in a campaign rally for the Liberal Party's (LP) candidates and showed support for Roxas and Leni Robredo.

President Aquino, on the other hand, reminded the public that Kris is among the country's top individual taxpayers. He said that he is only sharing her some "success."

"Nagkamalay siya kung kailan dapang-dapa kami bilang isang pamilya. Gusto ko naman ipakita sa kanya, tignan mo ang resulta na talagang nagiging makabuluhan, may saysay itong demokrasya na ipinaglaban ng mga magulang natin," 

PNoy also defends his sister for using the presidential chopper to campaign .

"Whether it is an individual taxpayer or someone who is very close to me who shared all of the burdens, I think it is just proper to share the successes. Share kami sa hirap, share kami sa successes," 

Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma also explains: "Members of the President's immediate family are allowed to ride with him in official government vehicles."
