When a person gains fame, the supporters could not help themselves if they get to have a chance to see them up close and personal. They would like to take the advantage of the once in a lifetime chance to take a photo with their idol. 

And when there are too many of them trying to get close to a single person, unlikely circumstances happen. 

This is what happened with the phenomenal star Maine Mendoza when many of her supporters tried to get to close to her as she was walking on the street. 

The people wanted to take photos of themselves with her but due to the number of people who wanted to see her closely, they tried to push each other. 

It resulted to Maine being bumped closer to the wall. Many fans were outraged by what happened to their idol.
