A lot of Angel Locsin's fans felt sad and disappointed when she announced it in a press conference that she will no longer be the one to play as Darna, due to her health condition.

"Ang priority ko po kasi talaga ay magpagaling. May kaunting usap-usap pero ang kailangan lang po talagang mangyari ay maging successful po 'yung operation at walang mangyayaring masama after that. So iyon lang po ang iniisip ko," She stated in her previous interview.

Angel then once again flew to Singapore for her operation in connection with the disc bulge that was found in her spine.

On Saturday, the actress posted on her Instagram account that her operation was successful. She posted a photo that comes with a caption: "Pre-op pic. Now in the recovery room.. Thanks for the prayers!"

This was the second time that the actress flew to Singapore for her treatment.
