It is for real that there are a lot of unbelievable stories in the Philippines, especially when it comes to myths and ghost stories.

There's such thing called as "Aswang" in  the Philippines, that truly scares the citizens in the provinces. Aswang is somehow what Filipinos call as monsters that have an unusual appearance. 

One of the most popular "aswang" in the Philippines is what we call as "manananggal" or "Wak wak." It is a monster who lives in the body of a human and when the night comes, the upper part of the body is being separated from the bottom part. This is a half bodied human with wings and fangs. 

A lot of people really don't believe in such thing, but still, the people in Aklan can't help but believe it's true, especially that they've witnessed one before.
